Photo Requirements

● Photos must include GPS location (geotag metadata). Take them with your phone's camera app with Location enabled — we place each photo on the map from its coordinates.
● Transfer originals only. Share full-quality files via an iCloud link or Google Drive. Texting, messengers and "remove location" sharing options strip the GPS metadata.
● One report covers ≈ 500 ft of roadway. Take a photo roughly every 100 ft — about 5–7 photos per report.
● JPG or PNG files only.

How to Take the Photos

✓ Good photo

Standing at the edge of the lane, camera at chest height
Angled down the road — 10–15 ft of pavement in frame
Daylight, pavement visible and unobstructed
Location (GPS) enabled on the camera

✗ Bad photo

Extreme close-up of a single crack — no context
Blurry, dark, or pavement covered by cars / debris
Screenshot or re-saved image (GPS metadata lost)
Location services turned off

Pavement Photos
